Dinosaur Resources
We have been working on a Dinosaur Unit over the last few weeks. Students have learned or will be learning all about the Brontosaurus, Pteranodon, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and the Tyrannosaurus Rex. The will extend their learning by choosing another dinosaur of their choice and learning all about it. Below are a variety of links that may be helpful in your child's search of a dinosaur they choose to learn about. Be aware this must be a different dinosaur than one we have been learning about in class. Do not choose one of the previously mentioned dinosaurs. Information may be researched from books and/or internet sources. A few links have been provided for you below.

1. What did it look like?
2. Where did it live and where have fossils been found?
3. What type of eater was it and what did it eat?
4. How did it protect and defend itself?

The project timeline will be as follows:
- Week 31 - Students choose dinosaur and complete 'NOTES" on 4-square organizer as part of their homework (do not write complete sentences)
- Week 32 - Students will use their notes to complete their writing in the classroom
- Week 33 - Students will create a model of their dinosaur at home
- Week 34 - Students will present their model and have an oral presentation in class
